We appreciate you so much, Cumberland County! __________________________________ Within the last month, you have helped us move three women and two children into their new homes. We're reaching out to ask for your help once again! We have a family who is now safe and in their new home. They have beds to sleep on but otherwise, their home is complet...ely empty and we're hoping you might be able to help us change that. Unfortunately, we ran into some roadblocks and will not be ready to launch the International Women's Day video on Monday as promised. Please join us instead at 7:30pm to watch this live celebration via THANS (Transition House Association of Nova Scotia). We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and we hope you will be able to join us in the evening instead.

We are once again asking for your help in setting up new homes for a couple of women. Below are the items we're looking for. If you are able to donate any of these items, PLEASE give the house a call at (902) 667-1344 to let us know and to arrange drop off. Did you know that you can support the women and children of Cumberland County simply by bringing your bottles and cans to Nova 4 Enviro Ltd at 16 Acadia Street here in Amherst?! It's as simple as telling Nova staff that you'd like to donate your return to Autumn House at drop off. As always, thank you for being such a supportive community. We couldn't do what we do without you!

We stand in solidarity with the ARHS students who have hung Red Dresses to honour all Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, girls, and LGBT+ peoples. One missing or murdered Indigenous woman is too many. It is wonderful to see young people in Amherst becoming involved and speaking out for an important cause. We stand with you.
