I hope everyone’s first full week back to work was smooth! wishing all you parents the best of luck with online learning I would have had a session today but ya know... and all. ... I’m trying to look at the positives this month can bring. I get to have a lot of time shooting content for my pals over at @ovroasthouse. They’ve got so many cool things coming out!!! I have time to plan some epic shoots happening later this year. I’m getting down and organized with the biz + offering some wicked minis for clients throughout the year. I’m trying real hard to focus more on Luna’s Instagram (@luna_explores). Y’all that run intense dog instagrams are DEDICATED. I plan to purge the hell out my closet and donate everything to charity! aaaaaaaand I want to read at least two books! if your stuck at home this month, what are your plans?

engagement sessions are 100% worth the booking - especially when it’s with your wedding photographer! e-sessions are fun as hell, even more so with me (maybe I’m a little biased, oopsies lol) you can expect your session with me to be full of movement and funny prompts. I’ll chat up a storm with you about your hobbies, favourite beer, and places you’ve travelled. You’ll dance until the sun sets, or maybe rises - your call, laugh until your cheeks hurt, and feel the really ra...w and vulnerable love you share for one another. I’ll help you decide on a location based off what types of elements you’d like to include in your engagement session, as well as help suggest the outfit attire you should wear. if you’re hesitant on booking an engagement session, just picture it as a fun date night. longing for more moments like this. this afternoon I had a good chat with a friend about all the things we look forward to for both our businesses this year. Goals, new edit styles, changes to sessions. it made me so motivated and eager to shoot and that hurt my heart a bit because I just simply can’t right now. ... missing my work is an understatement. Sure, the calm and quiet right now is blissful. Busy season knocks every photographer on their ass at some point, so being able to revel in a book or finish a project without interruptions is refreshing. I miss my work. I miss human connections. I miss the laughter, the love, the raw + pure moments I get to document at first hand. I miss all the delicate little details that make everyone’s story unique. what an honour to get to be a part of that. I have so many exciting things to look forward to with this business and while I wait for the lockdown to end, my creative soul will *patiently* wait until I can use my magic once again.
