It's a beautiful warm day. Take the time to do something outdoors with your child. Nature will always be there for a strategy for triggers. Figure out what they like to do outside.

I have taught both of my teenage daughters to do respite with two children with ASD that I work with. They feel as if these children are magical in that they always leave feeling super happy after spending time with them. My youngest daughter had a bad day today and said she wished she could go visit with these two children because they always lift her spirits. If only everyone could see and feel this special connection. It is a beautiful thing that I am thankful for every day!
