There are over 700 different species of eucalyptus! Lemon Ironbark, also known as eucalyptus, staigeriana, is unlike the commonly known varieties radiata and globalus in the fact that it is not high in 1,8 cineol (a monoterpene)but rather on aldehydes. This makes lemon ironbark more effective as a tonic or sedative to the nervous system. A very gentle variety of eucalyptus, it’s odour is less harsh and camphoraceous. I’ve been turning a lot to self care rituals lately. Staying away from the fear mongering media and trying to disconnect a bit from electronics.
