Great article in the Commentator by Justin Seward about our summer skills rodeo camp that took place July 13-16, 2020.

And that’s a wrap! We ended our rodeo camp today with team sorting followed by a mini rodeo / showcase of events. Events included barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and last but not least a queen competition wave . Huge thank you to Janet Kraft for being our camp cook for the week and to Billy and Tara Carter for supplying the goats. Last but not least the amazing crew of parents and participants that we had who were amazing and helped out whenever they could. Kids learned a lot and had fun too thanks to our instructors Nikki Nickolson, Jared Pancoast and Dalton Kraft.

Day 3 of Rodeo Skills summer camp consisted of break away roping, colt starting demo, barrel racing, goat tying, field riding and splashing in the water (well more like mud, lol). Special thanks to Corny Wiebe for the use of his calf and team roping dummy for our camp. They are for sale as well, contact Corny for more details. Huge thanks as well to Patrick Stadnicki and Enerplus for supplying pizza for everyone and Trisha Lynn and Jeff Drescher for the outdoor movie screen and projector set up.

Another awesome day of Rodeo Camp Day 2 with a huge thanks for Enerplus / Patrick Stadnicki for donating the nice swag bags filled with a variety of goodies for all of the kids participating. Excellent work and effort from all of the participants, everyone is learning lots and most importantly having fun !
