Wow....it's been too busy to keep everyone in the loop! But it's spring as usual here at Avalon, the berries are coming along very nicely, and we are trying to keep up with all the work that this time of year brings! It's that time of year again...the berries are just starting to turn colour, the plants are lush and green, and we are looking forward to another great crop of organic Blueberries here at Avalon! Not the nicest post to share with our friends, but every so often I am reminded that farming Organically brings some light to a very dark industry - food production in the large scale seems to be about profits, not feeding people!
