Hi folks the pups are growing quickly got their first lesson on Wednesday when a trainer a know dropped by. It’s hard to believe in 2 weeks they will be heading to their new forever families. They are getting lots of loves from Liam and Ava as well as the other dogs in our home. With warmer weather I hope to get them outside for some fun.

THIS IS A PSA Puppies bite. They bite a lot. They bite hard. Their teeth are sharp. You might bleed. It might seem relentless. Scaring the pants off them by yelling, pinning, shoving or shouting will not only do precisely zero, it will potentially create a fearful adult dog. ... Puppies bite more when; They are tired They are hungry They are bored They are overstimulated They are teething Read that again. They bite MORE when they are the above. They will also bite when they are absolutely fine. They are dogs not dolls. Be compassionate not scary. They will grow out of it but only if you teach them a good alternative. Trade for toys. Use a pen or a crate. Teach calmness. Reward gentle interactions. Grit your own teeth and ride it out while reinforcing good stuff and proactively managing bad stuff. Be proactive when you know biting happens like after some play, when excitement goes up, when they are overtired (7-9pm witching hour anyone?) and give them a good chew or help them settle, or channel that energy into some training. It does get better basically. Don’t panic. Most puppy biting isn’t aggression. Be CONSISTENT and PROACTIVE and expect more than a few bites along the way. I believe we may have found a home for the 5 year old wheaten Terrier. Fingers crossed all goes well this weekend at the meet and greet. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Hi folks . I am looking for a home for a sweet 5 year old male wheaten. He apparently has some anxiety and will need a stable low key environment. His family loves him however their circumstances have changed and they are no longer able to provide him the attention he needs. If interested please contact me to discuss.

Our little pups are busy growing so eating, sleeping and pooping are the priority. They respond to our voices and wiggle over to get a cuddle. Eyes are open now too. Mom is very attentive and always watching. Soon they will be roaming and exploring . Then the fun begins.

Scarlet had her puppies yesterday 2 males and 2 females. All pups are spoken for. Stay tuned for possible Fall litter with Faith and Wallace.
