Evoca, a Boise, Idaho start up, uses two lower-power stations to delivery subscription-based premium TV channels. For all live events and high demand shows, Evoca uses ATSC3.0 broadcast. For other less-watched content, the company employs broadband wired technology. Gray TV and Meredith presented VUit streaming service featuring more than 200 stations. It is an ad-supported model "aiming to be the Netflix of live, local, and free", Jack Perry, Syncbak CEO, a company partnered to launch the service. Sinclair Broadcast Group, one of the most active proponents of the NextGen TV, introduced STiRR service in 2019 featuring 121 channels of ad-supported content and with ATSC3.0 broadcast for live local programs including sport events and an archive of previous episodes of major shows.
