We are thrilled to be our first group in our ongoing monthly #CaregiverSupportGroup with Saskia de Quaasteniet. Join us at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 21st at Avenir Memory Care at Nanaimo. This group is free to join and open to anyone looking for support, understanding, and a comfortable place to share their experience as a caregiver to a loved one living with Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. You can share your experiences or join as an opportunity to meet others going through a similar experience.

We had a great time participating in the 35th annual Silly Boat Regatta supporting the Nanaimo Child Development Centre! A big thank you to everyone who was able to help us fundraiseour Avenir Avengers team was able to raise over $1,100 for this amazing organization.

Here's our amazing team together at the 2019 Walk for Alzheimer's at Bowen Park where we walked in honour of our residents, families, and friends. We are proud to have raised over $900 and be present to show our support of the important work the Alzheimer's Society of BC does every single day.

This is Canadas biggest fundraiser for Alzheimers disease and other dementias. The money raised go towards supporting local programs and services that improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their loved ones, as ...well as supporting other activities, education, and public awareness.
