New Goat Built TJ buggy chassis kit After talking with many customers at the Unlimited Off Road Expo about our TJ buggy kit plans, weve been motivated to move ...this project along. Weve made some good progress this last week. Here are some very early design concepts using Solidworks 2017. Here some of the highlights or design objectives, planning to release the chassis kits within 6 months so you guys can plan accordingly. -Completely new chassis design using our proven performing Ibex subframe platform. It will be available in a weld-it yourself kit or we can weld it. -Based on a Wrangler LJ tub with around 110" wheel base. You will be able to shorten everything to a TJ tub length if you want. -You would need the hood, grill, cowl and door opening and tub top rail from a TJ tub. You will be able to run stock TJ doors and LJ top. Trying to keep the TJ dash if you want it for the HVAC -Should be able to run a 36" rear bench seat with the trailing arms, possibly a 40" bench with the shocks mounted behind the axle. -Based around an LS V-8 engine but almost any thing should fit. -Chassis incorporates a 2x3 box tube to meet Ultra 4 4500 class rules, plus it just makes it easier to build than a round tube frame. -Front suspension can be either a triangulated 4 link with full hydro or 3 link w/panhard rod and a steering box for Ultra 4 4500 class rules, or to just make a killer street Jeep. -Rear Suspension will be triangulated 4 link with optional shock mounted trailing arms. -We will have full interior aluminum panels and side panels
