Due to the recent announcement by the CPHO, we will be restricting patient care to urgent and emergency treatment for the next 72 hours. In an effort to keep the number of people in the office to a minimum, we will utilize teledentistry as much as possible. All patients who had non-emergent or hygiene appointments scheduled during these times will be contacted ASAP to reschedule.... This protocol will be in place until Thursday morning unless there are further restrictions put in place. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Following the new Covid cases in Moncton and Campbellton your dentist may ask as part of your screening if you have travelled to either of those regions recentl...y. You have been advised by the government to avoid crowds and public places for two weeks after your visit there and it is possible in order to protect everyone that you may be asked to defer your dental appointment as well. In accordance with the guidelines set out by the Dental Council of PEI, dental treatment is still limited to emergency care for the treatment of pain, infection, swelling or trauma with uncontrolled bleeding. We will continue to treat these emergencies as we have been, with a triage over the phone, and referral to the centralized emergency clinic when needed. Beginning June 1st, offices will be able to treat patients with urgent needs, at which time aerosol-generating pro...cedures will be allowed with the use of a rubber dam. We will be contacting those patients who Dr. Gilchrist has been in touch with over the past few months, and do our best to schedule them in as soon as we can. We are anticipating that elective dental care and hygiene treatment will resume in the next phase of re-opening, at which time we will be contacting and re-scheduling those patients who had their appointments cancelled due to Covid. Thanks for you patience!

I am very pleased to announce that we have added a dentist to our team! Dr. Mohamed Soliman obtained his Bachelor degree in Dental Medicine & Surgery in 2001, from Alexandria University in Egypt. In 2009, he obtained his Masters degree in Oral Surgery from Alexandria University. In 2016, he obtained his Master of Science in Oral Implantology from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2020, he became certified to practice in Canada, through the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. We are looking forward to his addition to our awesome team!
