Well, well. We are up to a full dozen balls in our putting competition. With every haircut you are entered in our monthly give away of a dozen balls and a 30 min golf lesson with Dale Broughton. Now you have three putts to win another dozen. Good luck all. (It’s tough).

Congratulations to Brock for being the first to sink a putt in our putting competition. Turns out Brock is a 2 handicap at Victoria golf club. Brock stuck it on his first try then re-donated the two sleeves of balls, meaning we will be up to three sleeves of balls next week. Good luck everyone.

At Avenue we are doing our best to make certain our shop is clean and safe. While some new government restrictions have been put in place, the restrictions placed on hair salons and barber shops have not changed as Dr. Henry feels "personal service businesses like hair salons will also be allowed to continue operating. These businesses have been following rules and are not a source of outbreaks." Although this is the case, Barber shops throughout the city have seen a sudde...n decline in business since the new guidelines came out on November 19th. On behalf of Avenue and other local barber shops we would like to thank all our customers who have ventured into our premises since then. You are helping to keep small businesses like ours operating. Traditionally barber shops are cash only but we are now using debit/credit machines for those no longer comfortable with cash. We have also added a disinfectant sprayer to our regime as an extra measure. We thank you all again for your continued support. See more
