Average Joe’s Basketball Club 30.09.2021

Why are we named Average Joe’s? Are we trying to be average? We’ve received this question or a version of it a few times since announcing the name. There is a tendency amongst young people to want to fit in, to not have any attention cast on them. In a word, to be average. We at Average Joe’s want young athletes to feel this level of inclusion, but from a community that allows them to feel confident and show their personality. We are for players of all backgrounds and talent levels, with the desire of helping you achieve your goals. We’re the place that the regular Average Joes play at and leave with skills to succeed as a player and person. With a focus on developing young people, we’re here to show that we’re #NotYourAverageJoes

We have big plans for this year and we can’t wait to show you that we’re not your Average Joe! We are building an inclusive community through basketball, assisting young athletes to reach their potential. Our coaching staff understands how important confidence is for young people, and building it will be a major focus of our program. Average Joe’s has a mission in mind to bring the basketball community of Richmond and the Lower Mainland together, in an environment of development and fun. We have seen what basketball has done for us in our lives personally, and we want to give that back to our city. Regardless of your skill level, we have the experience and knowledge to help you improve! #ComingSoon
