EXCITING NEWS: WE ARE OFFICIALLY RE-OPENING AS OF MONDAY JUNE 8th 2020 To our beloved patients; On March 19th , the Chief Medical Office of Health issued a directive to stop all non-essential and elective dental services, in order to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 spread, and to save lives. Since then, we donated our Personal Protective Equipment to front-line workers and closed our doors. ... On May 27th , Ministry of Health annouced that all non-essential and elective services can graduallry be resumed in Ontario as of June 1st, as long as the new safety guidelines by the RCDSO are followed. The Alta Vista Dental Team is excited to annouce we are officially re-opening the doors as of June 8th for non hygiene appointments. Please call the office to book an appointment at 613-733-9731. We look forward to hearing from you!

In Compliance with the new normal guidelines we have received all necessary Personal Portective Equipment!! (N95 Masks, Gowns, and Faceshields) BUT WE WENT ONE STEP FURTHER; We ordered one of the BEST Swiss Air Purifiers , now being used all over the world !! *** HealthPRO Plus IQAir filtration sustem filters 99.5% of particals, as small as 0.0003 microns (easily removing the much larger COVID-19 Virus at 0.125 microns in size) At the top fan speed of 330 cubic feet per minute and corresponding noise levels of about 60dB(normal conversation) The air exchange rate in a dental treatment room will be at 30 Air changes per hour. In addition , the external extraction system called the FLEXVAC will capture aerosols, debris and dust particles directly at the source, at a speed of 17 feet per second.

Our dearest patients , In light of recent advisories from Ottawa Public health and the RCDSO about COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of our patients and staff and the reduction of community transmission, we are immediately limiting appointments to emergencies only. Please call the office and leave a message if you have symptoms of dental pain, swelling or bleeding and we will get back to you between 8am and 12p the following day. The clinic will be closed on Thursday , Marc...h 19th and will be open again on Friday the 20th from 8am to 12p. We thank you for your understanding. Alta Vista staff
