This was back in February, it feels like just a few weeks ago, not several months. We are in our 3rd year, can’t believe that either. Everyday is full of adventure, amazing findings, seeing things grow, meeting so many great neighbours and friends here in Kelowna and enjoying farm life. Michael’s making major changes to the property, it looks nothing like it did when we purchased it. He has such vision, such great business sense. I love the challenge of doing something ...new, nurturing the vines, planting seedlings taking cutting, learning something new every day. The greatest part is having our family do this together, living here at Avoca Farms and Vineyard all contributing our expertise with all our dogs. Self isolating here is not difficult, in fact we’re very content to enjoy such gorgeous surroundings. The air begins to feel crisper and starts to smell different, the grape are picked and the leaves are falling, the angle of the sun has changed and the sun sets are stunning, we know it’s the start of Fall. Grape Harvest 2019 @ Avoca Vineyards starts this Friday. The grape Gods have been very kind this season! The fun is over and now the work begins!
