The Avonlea SADD Chapter hosted an event at lunch today where students were able to see the effects of driving while impaired using the fatal vision goggles. Thank you to SGI for providing the googles.

The Avonlea School SADD Chapter would like to thank everyone who took part in The Santa Store. Special thanks go out to: all community members who donated new and used items, wrapping paper, and gift bags. the Genesis CO-OP for donating wrapping paper, tape and brand new items for gifts. ... Maryanne Ludwar and the Radius Credit Union for their very generous cash donations. the Grade 7-10’s for wrapping gifts and helping the elementary students shop. With all of your help, we were able to: raise $387.75 for our chapter. donate items to the Grade 5/6 Adopt a Family. donate items to the SOFIA House. make numerous little ones thrilled to be able to buy gifts for their loved ones!
