Today my kids’ dad came over to help me get the a/c brought upstairs from the basement and set up. He then saw how much of a jungle my backyard was and I jokingly asked if he wanted to mow it for me. And he did. I then offered for him to stay for dinner as a thank you. This is the kind of coparenting relationship that I’m so grateful that our kids get to witness. Leading by example is the best way to show your kiddos how to be good humans. I know situations like this will rei...nforce the lessons I’m working to instil in our kids around kindness and helping others, and I’m so grateful for that. When I teach the Rock Your Kindness workshop to the next round of young girls I’m privileged to work with, this is an example I will use as to how someone else’s kindness impacted me. #bethechange #kindnessmatters #girlife_ns #amberduffneycoaching

Running a business is HARD. Raising babies is HARD. Living with mental health issues is HARD.... Finding - and keeping - your bearings in the current world we live in is HARD. Seeing these incredibly special young girls (my own daughter included) engaged in and inspired by learning how kindness can transform the world - filled my cup! This is why I do what I do. I want do my part towards creating a future generation of women who are strong, resilient, kind, and know their worth! When your heart lights up with the work you do, you know you're fulfilling your purpose.

As we wind down our April Series, I’m thrilled to announce we will be running another series in May, beginning next week on Wednesdays. The focus is to help them understand that they have the power in any given situation to "choose happy" and to live in a way that brings them consistent joy. INTUITION & FINDING YOUR VOICE - This workshop focuses on empowering girls to recognize and trust their own inner voice. The focus is on showing them how to access that inner wisdom and use it in a way that will allow them to be their best, and most authentic self. ROCK YOUR KINDNESS - This workshop is all about the importance of being kind to ourselves and to those around us to create kindness on our planet and in our own day-to-day lives. The focus will be on showing girls how everything they do and say has a ripple effect within themselves and in the world around them. THE LEADER IN ME - This workshop is designed to teach young girls how to be a leader in their own lives, while empowering them to become mindful, conscious & positive role models for others. The core message is that by leading with their hearts, they can inspire change and positivity within themselves and those around them.
