Heartbreakers, As you are aware, in early April, a decision was made to reschedule the 2020 Heart Breaker Challenge fundraising event until September 19, 20...20. With the ongoing and continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and no current public health direction on whether events with large groups will be allowed in the coming months, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare has regrettably decided to postpone all signature fundraising events for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year. As a result of this unprecedented situation, the 2020 Heart Breaker Challenge event will be POSTPONED one year to the new date of Saturday, May 29, 2021. All current event registrations will remain and will be honoured for the new date of Saturday, May 29, 2021. If this date no longer works for you, two options are available: Transfer your registration to another participant that you have arranged - this can be completed online through Race Roster using the "transfer" option here (should you experience difficulties please contact Race Roster at 1-855-969-5515), or by contacting us at [email protected]. Convert your registration fee into a charitable donation to Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare for which you will receive an official tax receipt - please contact us at [email protected]. We apologize if either of these options creates any inconvenience for you. The Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has requested that EACH participant attend in person with government issued photo ID to pick up their event packet. At this time last year, the Toronto Raptors were going into game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers - and we all know how that ended. We are all missing the thrill of NBA playoff ball and the roller coaster all Canadians went on last year, but here is a little piece of that journey.
