Applications are now open for Ontario's Southwest Tourism Adaptation Fund. The applications are due January 29. This will provide non-repayable contributions between $5,000 and $20,000 to tourism-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Not For Profit organizations (NFPs) and Indigenous Communities, to support one-time adaptation and reopening costs, retroactive to June 1st, 2020 and completed by December 31st, 2021. The Ultimate Recipient must contribute a minimu...m of 20% of total pre-tax project costs. Eligible costs will include: Implementation of health and safety protocols (e.g. partitions); Alterations to accommodate social distancing (e.g. expansion of patio space for restaurants and or acquisition of outdoor heaters); Purchase of PPE and cleaning supplies for workers and business; Implementation of digital tools and transformations for tourism operators (e.g., virtual queue, online menus and time entry ticketing). Hills Pharmacy has a new app! It's called "Rx2GO", and you can find it on the Google Play store or the iTunes App store. It will let you request refills and see your current medication profile. For getting a refill, it's quick and easy: Just find Hills Pharmacy in the store locator, put in your prescription numbers and phone number, and indicate if you want it delivered or will be coming to pick it up in the store. To access your profile, you first have to come in the store ...so they can issue you a card number and a PIN. This is a security feature, so they know it's really you looking through your profile. The process will only take a couple of minutes. The profile will list all of your medications, the doses and instructions, as well as if you have any refills left. You can also order a refill from that screen. The app also has sections for some information on various health conditions and medications, and also if you forget their store hours or location they are in there too.
