***** IMPORTANT COVID -19 Update: All play sessions suspended until further notice. **** Spending time outdoors together seems for Little Friends Playgroup one of the best ways to support children’s well-being in staying safe. A weekly outdoor play date will take place from Tuesday, 8 September 2020. Every Tuesday we will meet at the Parc des Pommiers, 255 Rue North, Gatineau, QC J9H 0C2, from 9:30-11:30. This weekly gathering will allow for infants, toddlers, and preschooler...s to enjoy unstructured play with other children. It offers parents the opportunity to meet. We are looking forward to see you and spend together some fun time. Rain or Shine :D Parc des Pommiers - 255 Rue North, Gatineau, QC J9H 0C2 - shelter is available - bathrooms and hand washing facilities will not be available - playgrounds may not be cleaned or disinfected Safe play dates - do not come to a play date if your child or yourself are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms, stay at home! - adults and teenagers should stay 2 metres (6 feet) away from others - avoid sharing snacks and other food and drinks - wash hands (when needed) - if toys are to be used among children, offer toys and items that encourage individual play and that can be easily cleaned and reduce hand-to-hand-contact and cross contamination - bathrooms and hand washing facilities will not be available at the park - download COVID Alert Bring Some Things with You - appropriate outdoor clothing. There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing - drinking water and snacks

Little Friends Playgroup will be different this year, at least until Christmas. Indoor gatherings at our beloved address in the rue Principale will not be organized due to difficulties related to the implementation of Covid-19 prevention guidelines. Spending time outdoor together seems to be the best way to support children’s and parents well-being while staying safe. Dear Families, We are currently awaiting confirmation that we will be able open our location in the fall. If we do open, there will likely be some changes to how playgroup is organized. Some ideas include removing the drop in option so that only registered families can attend, reducing the limit on how many families can attend, opening on Mon/Wed/Fri only to avoid cross contamination between groups etc etc If you are seriously considering joining playgroup in the fall, please feel free to get in touch and let us know your thoughts/ideas on how to get through this together.
