Mt. Rainer Sunset, taken near Paradise on August 4th, 2019. Celebrating my one year wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife, watching the sunset and snapping photos throughout the evening.
Mt. Baker is just such a phenomenal mountain. Having left Abbotsford airport for London Ontario, the plane carves a route that gives a tremendous view of this amazing mountain.

Black Tusk from Whistler. A perspective that only climbing to the top of Whistler mountain (or taking the Gondola) will grant you.
Derek Falls, Three Falls Trail, E.C. Manning Provincial Park.

The incredible ambiance of a fogging morning at Golden Ears Park. Woke up at 6:30am this morning, after staying the night at Allouette Lake campground, and walked around the forest enjoying the sun streaming in through the fog-dense trees. Absolutely stunning.
Went for a long walk along Pitt River with the goal of capturing the sunset, and was not disappointed!

Golden Ears Sunset. Went down to Pitt River this evening, I anticipated the sunset was going to turn out. Ended up sitting around for half an hour on the shoreline listening to a couple of teenagers nearby talk quite the strange conversation and realized I was once in their head space. Took a couple of shots, went home and relaxed.

Although the photo is from a couple of years ago, I revisited this one with a renewed perspective. It seems that a couple of years of experience can help bring light to old photos (no pun intended). Taken at Yellow Aster Butte hike in the Mt. Baker Wilderness, as my wife and I made our way through the hike, this peak stuck out as one waiting to be captured among the turbulent sky.

Pitt Lake Long Exposure. A 5 minute long exposure to capture the tranquility of the setting, smoothing out the clouds, and the water to create a peaceful black and white scene.

Taken a couple of years ago at Jones Lake. Was feeling the itch to get out and capture nature, as I made my way up the logging road, I felt a cold coming on, one that would get worse and worse as I stayed longer. Eventually after a fairly brief wander around the frozen lake and a few good shots, I decided to call it and come back home. This was one of the highlights of the trip. #a6000 #joneslake #mountainsarecallingandimustgo #mountainsnow #britishcolumbia #chilliwack #photogaphy #landscapephotography #mountainserenity

Mt. Rainier in its full glory at sunset, after a hot, sunny day.
