I see a lot of people have been signing up, nice to see thank you for your interest . Being in nature , and scraping the ground working the gravels through your classifier. Much like living your childhood all over again with larger tools is all still sand box of sorts. Then you pan it, with the hopes of seeing that bright un-mistable, gold in the bottom of your pan. But those who try it gain so much more from being out there as well .... And Gold Fever Can Set in and it can be contagious . The otters were pretty rambunctious they were splashing and playing around in the water and on the beach as I was packing things up down there today, at first I thought it was a bear splashing int the water in a area I could not at first see then the otter came a squeaking up on the the beach was not hard to figure out what it was then a sigh of relief :)

Sunday Sept 4, another shining day with Brian from Colorado and two private guests who wish to remain unknown but now wish to also spend another day doing adventures and its interesting as now we are moving gold pans as well with most tours so they must enjoy what they had the chance to experience .

Thank you so much for the pictures. We so enjoyed our day learning from you and really appreciate your patience with us as we came away feeling like we had got the hang of the basics of panning (altho realize that we now need to practice). Do not yet have a good idea where we can try panning up here but the more people we talk to the more we discover others who have done some panning here and there in this area (altho most are a little "vague" about where exactly we can go to try). Otherwise we may take you up on your offer to come back because at least down there we know that we have a half a chance of finding a few bits of gold if we persevere. Anyway, many thanks again and hope that the rest of your summer goes well. Janet and Dave

Had a great day weather was good for a full day of gold panning and it did not take Janet or Dave to pick up a few useful tips.

Another Stunning day off to the claim have a bear to clean up after and to get ready for a tour today .

Like to thank Ann Skidmore her husband, Daughter and four children for enjoying the day with me gold panning everyone found color .

Another enjoyable day , booked a couple more group tours , sold some pans had a great time with Mary Coward and Family everyone found what they were looking for and the boys realize it takes patients but they were finding color :)

Had a great day out at the claim , everything set up and ready to go, and most of all Azeet has broke down and now accepts Thor as her play buddy so no need tying them up anymore , cleaning our beach :)

Was worth the day being out at the claim , Richard showed up , Steve. Ashley, Azeet and Derek and the morning hours were put into finishing up odds and ends and Steve finally panned out the bucket to recover his gold :) or i would of did it with so much pleasure :) Richard went to test a area I was looking at and he did find a very nice return of black sand and even gold off the top six inches all in all was a great day looking forward to going out to the Triple One Claim tomorrow ..
