It was a great day to provide fuel, restaurant, grocery, and prepaid Mastercards to the family to... help with the dozens of trips they make to the Stollery every year. We found a great use for our otherwise quiet classroom and conference rooms! About 25 of Team Aztec have spent the last couple of weeks alongside Fulcrum Group Chartered Professional Accountants organizing, shopping, wrapping and packaging in support of dozens of local families. Proud of our team for supporting the Spirit Tree. We are nearly ready to deploy and hopefully lighten the burden by providing gifts, essentials and a Christmas dinner! Congratulations Tour of Hope At Home cyclists: Jason Kolosky and Nathan Mckay (Aztec Engineering Inc) and Ruben Marin (Grassroots Realty Group). They started th...eir 802.5 KM in Grande Prairie on July 24 and ended their 7 days of cycling through their prairie communities on July 30. The veteran tour trio were joined by Jacob Farnsworth for 4 days. This 15 year old cyclist, is full of energy and has an incredible pace. Jacob is an amazing young athlete and has been inspired to participate in the Tour of Hope 2021! Tour of Home for Hope - Grande Prairie July 24th through 30th UPDATE -We will not be riding through the beautiful rocky mountains this year due to Covid, but CANCER DOESN'T QUIT AND NEITHER DO WE! Aztec employees Jason and Nathan along with a few local riders from Grande Prairie will ride for 7 days straight to raise fund for the Kids with Cancer Society - an amazing organization that supports several families from our region. We know times are tough for some and we underst...and that, but things are also tough for families battling childhood cancer. If you have the ability to support a foundation now or in the future, I hope you will consider this one. Last year we were able to experience first hand the impact that the Kids With Cancer Society makes in every community we visited as we rode 829.5 km from Grande Prairie to Edmonton. We hope that you will support us and this organization on week long ride around our home community. You can JOIN US! We will be extending our annual bottle drive this year.
