My friend, Robeco Clarete, will lead this important session on HOW a business is developed especially during times like this one. As a versatile entrepreneur, he will be able to share nuggets of information, knowledge and experience to our aspiring young entrepreneurs. This session should not be missed! The 4th and final part of our Summer Online Workshop 101 is happening on Saturday, August 8, at 10:00am EST. Our next resource person is Robeco Clarete, a Toronto based serial entrepreneur, operating multiple ventures focused in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology. Currently the President of 3Rius Design Lab, leading teams in R&D projects, te...chnical design projects, and optimization strategies on building designs, construction, and operations. He is the Founder of MGear, a manufacturer of customizable gadgets and outdoor gear. Owner of Holod3ck, a 3D body scanning, and 3D printing Studio, and the head of Northfabtory, digital manufacturing, prototyping, and fabrication lab. As a Filipino in Canada, he is driven by a deep sense of responsibility towards promoting the culture that he is privileged to have and currently working on developing cultural programs under MaharlikaStudios. Early in his journey of entrepreneurship, he founded Pinoy Culture, an online cultural bookstore that aimed to promote Filipino culture across the globe, providing Filipinos of all ages with cultural bilingual books, (English/Filipino). He was also one of the founders and Past Chairman of the Toronto Filipino Society (TFS)- a basketball league tournament now in almost 2 decades providing a sports community for Filipinos across GTA. He continually aspires to contribute to the next-gen Filipinos, a means to find a way to reconnect with their Filipino heritage, embrace their roots and to be proud of who they are as future leaders of our community. Our Summer Online Business Workshop 101 is coming soon! The first session of the 4-part series is happening this Saturday, July 18 at 10am EST. The goal is to help you understand the WHY in developing your business. We are fortunate to have Rachelle Cruz as our speaker for this segment. Rachelle Cruz is a TV host and producer based in Toronto. She is a freelancer reporter/producer for Tayo News, a digital platform for millennials powered by ABS-CBN. She has also contributed t...o TFC's Balitang America; produced and hosted for an interior design show called The Design Proposal; and emceed in various concerts/sponsors nights for Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo and more. This past year, she has focused on her entrepreneurial e-commerce as an Independent Consultant and Executive Area Manager/brand ambassador for Arbonne International, a holistic beauty/wellness company. Rachelle believes that taking care of your mind, body and skin is optimal health. She has also learned that a growth and strong mindset is important in business. As part of her community initiatives, Rachelle is the National Ambassador for the Golden Balangay Awards, now in its fourth year. She started the campaign Filipinas Speak Out (#FilipinasSpeakOut) since coming out with her own #MeToo story in 2018. FSO aims to raise awareness on sexual violence and empower survivors to speak up and seek help.
