Blonde Diamond brought their tour to Nanaimo on Friday night and rocked the house. I was introduced to them at Rock The Shores 2018 and have been following their music ever since. I was thrilled to see their full headline set full of amazing music!

While we patiently await the day we can safely get back to live concerts, it was as good a day as any to get out with my camera again to enjoy a beautiful Canada Day afternoon in our lovely Nanaimo downtown!

Vancouver-based funk-rock band, Raincity, came to Campbell River to open up the show for Five Alarm Funk at the Tidemark Theatre on Thursday. They brought a really cool blend of different vibes and genres, with incredible vocals, and a jazzy twist with the saxophone! Will definitely be keeping an eye on their music!

Toronto band, Featurette, took their first trip to BC and opened up the show for Blonde Diamond at the Queens on Friday and I was blown away by their electro-pop sound, I had to buy their album on the spot! Will definitely keep an eye open for their return to the west coast!

A little departure from concerts, but we were at the Clippers home game versus the Rivermen. It was a very even game, and a whole lot of fun. Langley tied it up at 3 with two minutes left, and the home team took the game at 1:30 into overtime!!

@adrianchalifour and @thedanielwesley rocked a sold out Got Pop? Concerts show in Parksville this weekend! Great way to close out the year! Looking forward to more music in 2020!!

Vancouver Island icons Jon and Roy presented their annual Holiday Special last night - the 3 year in Campbell River. This year they were joined by the immensely talented Vince Vaccaro and The Cave Singers who each brought their own unique flavour to the fun-filled evening. Hawksley Workman's 2nd Vancouver Island stop was in Nanaimo! It was great getting to see him and the band play in such different environments and atmospheres - a theatre yesterday, and a bar today.

The immensely talented Hawksley Workman brought The Wolves to the Tidemark last night for an incredible evening of music! A powerhouse in the music industry as a singer, writer, producer, and countless other hats, he played a perfect mix of favourites spanning his 20+ year catalog to date.
