I actually cried this morning, I woke up to being tagged in so many beautiful families Christmas photos.. with beautiful captions This year, more than other years, I am so grateful to be able to capture something special for families to remember this season of life with their kids I know nobody wants to remember 2020, but it was still a full year of your kids growing up and changing, regardless of if you want them to or not they grow up and it has been my pleasure to captu...re this year for so many growing families xo I didn’t mean for this to be a long post so I’ll just stop there, but today I am so grateful for our wonderful clients and especially grateful for these two wonderful girls that I get to work with every day xo @and_awayshegoes @pearlsandlattes I love you guys so much and I couldn’t picture myself doing this weird and wonderful job with anybody else xoxo #teambabynbloom xo

5 more sleeps Something a little festive So I finally put up my Christmas tree (kind of ). I ended up setting one up in the barn for our little family Christmas. I love decorating so I’m glad I’ll be able to channel some creative energy into that... it’s after Christmas that I’m worried about last lockdown I started taking a baking course, started a small meat distributing company with Jordan that actually did kinda great (Like what!? ) and almost started a line of ki...ds clothes (don’t love that for me right now but maybe later). I’m excited to see what happens next! 6 more sleeps It’s just a room with way to many Christmas trees in it until you come-in and bring the magic I was thinking a lot about this today, how are images are only as good as you guys feel. We work SO hard getting the vibe to a certain level and you guys all-ALWAYS deliver. Don’t even get me started on your incredible outfit choices! For all of this, we are so grateful xo

When wonderful friends become great clients swipe was so nervous for this one but in the best way! It was so refreshing to do something totally different than the usual (colour wise) for my sweet friend @allimbartlett Her and her partner Will run and educate through @alliandwill and I was so honoured when they reached out about doing a newborn shoot for the precious little Amelia Getting commissioned by other artist is soooooooo amazing but you can’t help but feel l...ike the pressure is on! doesn’t help that you’re fully relying on a newborn baby to work in your favour... 2x but Baby A came through for me! I full on had an amazing time and their collection of images is one of my favourites P.s they got married on a mountain in BC and it’s the most epic thing ever! Go creep them, you won’t be disappointed

Sibling photos : I’ve had two sessions come in in the past two weeks that had siblings/toddlers but they didn’t think we would be able to get photos with the toddlers (because toddlers), so they were left at home But so many times these images end up being some of mine and the families favourites. Such a pleasure meeting twins Willow & Adelaide (love these names!) for their 8 Month sitter session. How freaking precious are these two?! No lies they did an hour session and not 1 tear was shed! What is this twin magic!?! Thank you Anna and Paulo for coming from so far and trusting us with your sweet babes! We could not get enough!

It’s been a fabulous weekend and I’m feeling so inspired and rested! : As you can imagine we’ve had a lot of inquiries for Newborn Photos lately, and sometimes It can be very difficult or impossible to accommodate a last minute booking. it honestly breaks my heart. : So if you are someone you know has been talking about coming into Baby’n Bloom but they haven’t actually gotten to the point of inquiring and making sure that their online booking form has been submitted. Give them a little nudge, or take action! I just don’t want you you to miss out xo especially when it’s an email that starts with ive been following you on Instagram for so long and I finally had my baby!

The last few weeks have been a beautiful blur of sweet babies, big siblings and wonderful new mammas and papas. So much to be grateful for my heart is full! : I’m taking the next two days to refuel, i’ll still be replying to emails.
