We found a leaf that is so thick and strong when we’re walking around the neighborhood! Children are curious about the leaf therefore we decided to pick some up and let them feel it, touch it, draw on it, and explore on it. #childcare #sensoryactivity #nature #artactivity #infantandtoddlers #spontaneous #babysteps @ Baby Steps Infant and Toddler Care

Even in the pandemic, Baby Steps works so hard to clean, sanitize, organize and take care of our garden. Plants are glowing and children are slowly coming back. And we follow our emergency plans and keep practicing the social distancing. Hope everyone stays healthy and see you soon!
*The new sign in/out station located outside. *Wash hands all the time. *Clean and sanitize things more than 3 times a day. *Keep your distance from others. *Stay Healthy. ... *When you feel sick, Stay home. Field trip : Aberdeen mall shopping. We took a bus on Cambie St to Aberdeen mall. Children were amazed by fish and vegetables on the shelves at the grocery store. People at the mall were very friendly to children and allowed us to see things and touch stuff. It was a short local field trip but good enough to explore and support our community.
It snowed 15 cm in Metro Vancouver in the last couple of days. We built a snowmen family.
The first snow in town of this season. Such a blast time to make a snow man!
Happy New Year! The very first day of 2020 at school! Good to see you guys back again!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
A Surprise field trip to the library. Our toddlers decided to go to library in cambie branch. It happens with a nice sunny day today, they finished an early morning snack and it was so hard to resist not to take an adventure today. So! Teachers and toddlers made a small and short trip to the library. We walked to the bus stop and took a bus for only two stops, we arrived the library. This richmond library in cambie branch is like an amusement park for children. There are tons of children books and toys and circle times with a librarian too. Baby steps toddlers enjoyed a bus ride and books so much. Even they chose books to burrow for December! Hopefully the next surprise adventure will happen soon!
Happy fun play day!
