I’ve been having a hard time with the sosh this week, obvi. 5 days of silence from a word nerd is a big deal. Here’s the scoop... . The world is super weird these days, bookies. I know, it’s not a news flash but it got me a bit freaked out. I think everyone was hoping and needing a great flash of light and a fresh start with the clock turning to 2021 and let’s say it, it still fucking sucks. I’m not going to get into it, y’all know what I’m on about. . BUT this is what I kn...ow... we live in an amazing community. We, as an independent bookstore and locally owned business have seen a lot of support from our town and we are loving it There is a light at the end of this tunnel and it’s not a train (credit to Pa Book for that one) and we have books. Have you made your new year resolutions yet? I have. Of course, my resolutions ALWAYS include reading. This year, I have resolved to read more poetry. Which incidentally is a very ironic resolution. I'll tell you why... since I was quite young, poetry has been my most natural form of written expression. I have boxes and boxes of poetry filled notebooks stored in my shed. Yet, I rarely buy poetry for myself to read. So, I'm resolved. What about you?
