This virtual wine dinner we are going to discover more of the cuisine from Chef Will’s from Bacio‘s past. He spent 5 years cooking in a Portuguese restaurant. So, he’s very happy to share the foods of Portugal with you and Wine Journeys is thrilled to help you explore the wonderful wines of Portugal. We will pair each course with a pour of wine so that you can experience the magic of pairing wine and food without buying a whole bottle (unless you want the whole bottle, we will still have that option). So, to set the mood for the evening, we will delight in live music from Kat Chabot. Book soon since tickets will go quickly!... For both nights, we are donating a portion of each ticket sold to help fund the care package that Barrie's Live Music Show is putting together for Long Term Care Homes in Barrie and Area to share your love with the community. Our newly upgraded, premium Valentine's Day menu will be offered on 2 nights; so, you simply choose the best night for you, order, pick up dinner and wine at Bacio, and join us on Zoom to enjoy a restaurant quality meal at home. Chef William will prepare some special menu items, featuring Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar from the Barrie Olive Oil Co., that he doesn’t offer on his takeout menu and Trent from Wine Journeys will pair them with some amazing wines to make your Valentine sweetheart happy. Plus, to celebrate your Valentine, each couple will receive one 200 mL bottle of Sparkling Dessert Wine compliments of Bacio Trattoria and Wine Journeys. Experience the region, food, and wine of Campania Chef William from Bacio Trattoria, Eleanor from Vision Travel, and Trent from Wine Journeys will take you to Campania.... We will take you on an online tour of the region accompanied by: 3 course take out meal for 2 of local specialties (featuring Spaghettini Puttanesca as the main), and 1/2 bottle of Prosecco plus 750 mL bottle of an excellent red (or white) from the Campania region. Chef Will will take you through some simple finishing touches on the dinner using Zoom. Then Trent will take over. He will give you his thoughts on the wines and the food pairings and answer your questions. During dinner, Eleanor will take you on a captivating tour of Campania.
