Reminder to all those heading out for spring skiing to get the proper temperature wax or ensure you are running universal wax. You don't want to get stuck in the snow. Back Alley Tech Shop offers 4 different wax choices with our Hot Hand Wax package. Our typical application is the Wintersteiger (Vola) Universal Clear wax. This was has a wide temperature range and is effective in all sorts of different conditions. The Cold Blue wax excels in colder conditions for when you ar...e riding on those cooler days. On the flip side if spring skiing is your thing and you love those warm late March / April / May sundog days the Warm Yellow wax will keep you cruising through the soft and sometimes slushy snow pack. For those of you who ride very late into the season on poor snow conditions, ride specifically on artifical snow pack and are looking for added base protection, the Black Molydbenum wax might be worth trying.
