REMINDER: As we prepare to reopen next week, please take a moment to re-familiarize yourself with the COVID-19 protocols that remain in effect at the clinic: 1. The day prior to your appointment, you will be contacted to confirm your appointment time, as well as to perform a pre-screening questioning. You will be asked to confirm that: a. You do not currently have, or have not had in the past 14 days, any COVID-19 symptoms including fever, sore throat, runny nose, nasal cong...estion, or new or changed chronic cough. b. You have not been in close contact with any individuals who have a confirmed or presumptive positive diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. c. You have not been outside of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in the past 14 days. 2. There is no waiting room available. You are asked to remain in your vehicle until your appointment time. Please call the clinic at (709) 695-5858 or send a text to (709) 694-1085 to confirm that you are in the parking lot. You will be notified when you are able to be seen. NO WALK-INS are permitted at this time. You will be again asked to confirm that the above screening criteria are met. You will also be asked to sign a Pre-Screening Questionnaire upon entering the clinic. 3. You will be asked to go directly to the washroom upon entering the clinic and wash with soap and water using proper hand washing techniques. 4. To limit the number of people in the clinic at one time, you are asked to please come alone to your appointment time, unless you require assistance getting into the clinic. Minors can be accompanied by a parent. 5. Patients will be required to wear a mask when in the clinic, including the duration of their appointment. 6. At this time, patients are asked not to bring food or drink into the clinic. 7. To reduce contact, patients are asked to pay via e-transfer, if possible. Payments can be made by emailing [email protected] (auto deposit has been set up). Receipts can be emailed. If you would like an email receipt, please send an email request to [email protected]. 8. Due to the protocols, there may be a delay on the day of your appointment. Also, there may be an increased wait time for booking an appointment. See more
