These two lovely felines are still looking for their fur-ever homes! Marley (DSH brown tabby) is a 7 year old sweet and sassy female with a little more to love... than the average cat. She needs someone that can support her through her weight-loss journey and melt off that "winter weight"! She would do well in a home where her need of boundaries are understood. Though she loves to be pet most of the time, she isn't a fan of being handled. Sam (DSH white) is a 4 year old spunky male. He loves to play and show off! He's always ready to entertain anyone that's willing to watch him. He can sometimes be a little "hangry" in the mornings, but mostly loves attention. He would do well in a home with adults, and most older/respectful children. *He would also be a great candidate for foster - please call to inquire* Come on down to the shelter between 12pm and 5pm on the weekend, or 12pm and 6pm weekdays. Sam is looking for a foster home. We suspect that he has allergies and want to put him on some medication to stop his itch to allow for some wounds around his ...neck to heal. This medication unfortunately lower his immune system so we want him to be in a home environment. He will likely need foster for approximately 1 month and will need to come back to the shelter for weekly rechecks with our Veterinarian. An ideal situation would be a foster home with no other cats or young children. He will need to be given a pill twice daily so experience with giving medication is a must!
