Photo is a little dull in color because it is very mature! Always have had that spark to make things work well and perform Top Notch. This was from my old Drag Racing days at Wasa BC. Back then it was a 2 day event. We cleaned up and beat every car on the strip to earn the title King Of The Hill. Mike Scarpelli, John Scarpelli and myself, Al Komarevich. Those were the days!!!

We wanted to update you on our status and hours. As of this moment Automotive repair shops are still an essential service so we wanted to let you know that we are open Monday- Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The traffic inside the shop is limited so please be patient and keep your distance. Keep in mind one of our staff members will gladly come pick your vehicle up and bring it back to you once your service had been completed. We are practicing more cleaning and sanitizing tha...t we ever have and keeping our distance from each other. We will wipe down your steering wheel, gear shift, seats etc before and after we entered them. If we are delivering your vehicle back to you please practice the same once returned. These are trying times for us all so if you have any questions please just use the phone and call 250 423 6389 instead of coming down to chat. We are doing our best to have your vehicle running quickly and safely. HUGE shout out to ALL the Essential Workers. Stay safe! See more
Backyard Mechanical IS open at this time. We want all of our customers to know we are taking every precaution to keep our customers as well as our staff safe from this virus. We are constantly sanitizing our phones, keyboards, door handles, restrooms and hand held tools etc to keep the shop and office area as sanitized as possible.. Please know that ALL staff are washing their hands often and keeping the social distance from each other. If you are feeling ill or have a cold o...r flu like symptoms please stay home. We will sanitize the door handles, gear shift handles etc before your vehicle goes home. We realize you depend on your vehicles to get your groceries, medical supplies etc which is why we are concerned about the health, safety and well being of them. Regular services should not be overlooked at this time. It is important for us to also keep the commercial trucks we service in good shape so that your needs are also met. Remember we are willing to pick up your vehicle as well as drop it off. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call and ask. We are limiting customers in the office area to one at a time when you are coming to pick up your vehicles, so please be patient. Thank you for your continued trust. Stay safe, practice social distancing. We can get through this Fernie! See more
