What is the one pasta you can't live without? Mine is spaghetti aglio olio (link in bio), a dish a friend of mine, who once worked at the Olive Garden once taught me. It's an easy Italian recipe with garlic, chili flakes and grated cheese. I think it's an important recipe to learn, because it's also the base of so many other good recipes and is really versatile.... Do you like goat? This was one of my favourite meals in Cienfuegos Cuba. Just outside the El Nicho waterfall there are several small restaurants serving fantastic food if you walk outside the park to the road. Perhaps not everyone would order chivo guisado (braised goat). ... I wanted to try it because goat is a newer animal they are raising in the area because it is more sustainable and less expensive for the farmer. The stewed meat was deep, rich and delicious. The best food I've had in Cuba is always in the mountains, in the campo, at someone's house. There are so many reasons why Saint John is awesome. Fantastic bars and restaurants line historic uptown Saint John with great independent retailers in between.
