We were called to the bakery today, our first day off in weeks, by our friend at Orto who told us we were having a bit of a flood. We rushed to the bakery and found out the flooding was being caused by the hose that had been connected to our now *stolen* espresso machine. Please keep your eyes open for this exact model which may be listed on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. Not only is this a kick in the teeth to a small business in a super tough year, but whoever stole this has ruined our New Years Day family dinner - instead of celebrating with our toddler, one of us is cleaning up a bunch of water and waiting for the police to arrive. #2021 #stolen #baddogbread #simonelli #coffeemaker #espressomachine

Redressing the stones on our mill - almost 15 tons of locally grown grain has been milled since we started milling with our new mill last December. Milling is just one chainlink in the process.
