The MSoA is hosting a celebration of Black History Month on February 24 from 5:45 pm - 7:30 pm EST. Please join us for presentations from our MSoA External Thes...is Critic Michaele Pride, Professor of Architecture and Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies at the University of New Mexico - and Farida Abu-Bakare, Project Architect, Adjaye Associates, Accra, Ghana, Chair and co-Founder of BAIDA (Black Architects and Interior Designers Association), Toronto, Ontario. An ensuing discussion will be moderated by Tura Cousins Wilson and Kristen Aleong, following with a Conversation on Reflections - Accomplishments, Challenges and Optimisms - the Future of Architecture Education and the Architectural Profession with Tura Cousins Wilson, Kristen Aleong, and Assumpta Isiguzo. We will also launch the MSoA Library Celebration of Black Architects book virtual book display.
