Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! These are words we can’t say enough! When this group of people reached out to us about this fund raiser we couldn’t say no, an...d we are forever grateful that they did reach out! We know this is going to be the most challenging thing we will ever have to go thru. We want to do everything physically possible for our little man! And we know we can’t do it alone. We are so blessed to have people in our lives that care so much! We are beyond overwhelmed at the care and support that has been shown, offered, donated from everyone! It makes us feel so grateful to live where we do seeing the generosity from everyone in our caring community and surrounding communities! It’s unbelievable really. We don’t even know where to start thanking everyone! We wouldn’t wish this type of thing to happen to anyone or anyone’s family let alone a child. It truly breaks our hearts watching the struggle that our son faces day after day of this terrible disease since we had gotten the heart wrenching news. Benny’s battle has just begun and He has went from a boy with endless energy from the moment he opens his eyes each day to a little boy who ,if we are lucky, see a couple hours sporadically of play sitting in a bed throughout the day, which is then interrupted by someone who comes in to poke or prod at him. It’s truly heartbreaking! We know it’s for the best... It’s just so hard to watch! When the doctors come in the room to talk about how Benny is reacting, coping with chemo, or tell us he needs platelet transfusion or blood transfusions, we literally hold our breath. Hoping not to hear bad news... and it doesn’t come. We literally break down and breath a sigh of relief. It’s literally the most stressful feeling. We are taking each day as it comes, no expectation, just is how it is. We love our sweet boy so much and we are terrified.. But we are ready to begin and continue this fight!! We have a battalion of people behind us! Benny’s Battalion!
