At 11:15 I capped t...he last jug of syrup, scrubbed the floor, (hey, we don't stick to one spot anymore!), washed the bottling equipment and hauled me weary bones to bed! Final tally of fabulous liquid gold.......108 Liters! Man what a tough, drawn-out Sugar Season, but we love it, just another type of farming, when it's in your blood, it's just what you do! 96 super-tiny fill holes, (lot's of slops needless to say), on wedding favour bottles...wow what a challenge after a long day in the sugar shack boiling, but there're all done!
