This is an active and fast-paced job that requires someone physically able to perform their duties. It is not uncommon that one could take 8-10 thousand steps per day. Candidates must have a fully functional and reliable vehicle to perform the job functions. You will be reimbursed for mileage during on-the-job vehicle usage. ... Since the emergence of the recent COVID-19 crisis, the United Way has been able to address some of the most pressing needs in our communities by adapting their existing programs. This is done by embedding the United Way Community Builders in 29 communities throughout the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley. The United Way Community Builders wo...rk to identify individuals and families that have been impacted by COVID-19 and need support. Whether it is groceries or food hampers, or even walking dogs for healthcare workers, the United Way Community Builders continue to have a positive impact in our communities. In April 2020, the United Way had set out to establish 50 Local Love Food Hubs by the end of May 2020. As of August 11, 2020, there are 126 active food hubs. Currently, we are fundraising for the United Way to support the current community initiatives noted above. We are running a 1000 ticket raffle, with all proceeds going to the United Way. The raffle prize is a guided sturgeon fishing tour for two with Great River Fishing Adventures.
