As we all try to stay active during these times of social distancing, muscles can still get pulled, ankles can still sprain, lower backs can get sore sitting through all those Zoom meetings. ... Not sure what to do? We can help. While we can't see you in person right now, we are able to connect with you and guide you through the best ways to manage many of the same issues you would see us for in the clinic. Staying active important and even more so during this time of physical and social distancing. Some great suggestions from the folks at Exercise is Medicine. Stay safe and stay active and remember, this too shall pass!

Responding to COVID-19 On behalf of Balance Physio, Sharon and Tracy made the tough decision to close the clinic on March 18th. Following guidelines from government, as well as the national and provincial Physiotherapy associations, the closure is important to help reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of staff, patients and our families is our main priority and given that we work in close physical proximity with the majority of our patients, w...e cannot guarantee that we can maintain the recommended appropriate distance in order to minimize the risk of transmission. We support the medical suggestion of social distancing as we work together to flatten the curve. All scheduled appointments are canceled and all those affected will be notified. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. At this time there is no indication of when we will be able to re-open. For those who need more immediate help, we are looking to set up online physiotherapy consultation sessions and help provide you with information and advice on how to best manage your injuries. As well, we can guide you through updating or progressing your exercise program. Keeping active will help keep you healthy and fit as we all work our way through this unprecedented situation. We are closely following government and public health guidelines and as soon as it is safe and prudent to do so, we will re-open our doors and return to what we do best and that is get you back moving and being active. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have a general inquiry or you can email Sharon or Tracy directly if you have a quick question related to an injury: [email protected] or [email protected] Until we see you again, stay healthy, be kind, and we’ll get through this together.
