Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been carefully monitoring the progression of the virus and closely following the advice of Canada’s public health authorities. We have followed their recommendations and have implemented numerous changes in the clinic to focus on our highest priorityour patients and community. In efforts to do our part to protect our patients, staff and community, we have made the difficult but important decision to close the clinic effective March 17, 2020 and cancel all appointments for the time being. Chiropodists (foot care specialists) are exclusively trained and regulated by the province of Ontario to provide foot healthcare and orthotics.... Although most foot-related issues show signs and symptoms in the feet, foot-related issues can also cause problems in the ankle, knees, hips and back. For those whose insurance runs on a calendar year basis, book an appointment for your custom orthotics within the first two weeks of December to guarantee your orthotics are dispensed by December 31!

Balance Health Group now offers Athletic Therapy! Certified Athletic therapists adhere to the Sports Medicine Model of care. They treat a wide range of patients, from kids with concussions to seniors recovering from hip replacement surgery, using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription and even bracing and taping. The treatment varies but the objective doesn’t: an Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients return to their usual activities, whether that means playing competitive sports or walking to the mailbox and back.
