On September 30th Ballad supported Orange Shirt Day across Alberta in Grande Prairie, Whitecourt, Edmonton, and Calgary. We wore orange shirts (and masks!) to honour the children who survived Residential Schools and to remember those that didn't. Orange Shirt Day recognizes the harm Residential School's inflicted upon a children's sense of self-esteem and well-being. Ballad participated this year and will continue to do so each year as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters. #orangeshirtday #everychildmatters #truthandreconciliation
