Hey Zoners, My name is Craig, from BamBrush We believe in the power of community, so this year the BamBrush team has decided to make 2020 suck a little less fo...r those in need. This year is our first Heat The Feet initiative. As winter fast approaches and the weather gets colder and colder, we want to help the less fortunate and those who may not have warm, dry clothes every day. So we are raising $1,000 to benefit Our Place Society, so they can offer more socks and supplies to the people they support. What Is Our Place Society? For over 50 years, Our Place has been a unique inner-city community centre serving Greater Victoria's most vulnerable, the working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, addicted, and the homeless. Our Place provides over 1,000 meals per day, plus 1,200 snacks, hot showers, education, job skills, health care, addiction recovery services, donated clothing, counseling, and outreach services, plus 45 transitional housing units and over 100 shelter spaces.
