Congrats #chdc the recent petition numbers truly are extraordinary. Contrary to a rumour that is circulating - your MP sponsored petition WILL be presented in the House of Commons - so any one who is disappointed should be rejoicing. The ONLY requirement to have a Member of Parliament sponsored petition presented is 500 signatures. Many petitions of this type do not achieve that number. ... The last MP sponsored petition that CHDC and @beynate created achieved an incredibly impressive 4,632 signatures and it was presented in Parliament. Not only did the number on this petition FAR exceed that number, there currently is only one other petition on the active list of petitions hat even comes close to achieving the number of signatures this petition received.So what exactly is the BEYOND extraordinary number that this petition achieved?
