FLU SHOTS will be available to everyone ages 4 and up. **Children age 6 months to 4 years should contact their doctors office to schedule an appointment in office** You do not need to be a patient at the Bancroft Community Family Health Team to attend. Individuals at high risk of influenza-related complications or who are more likely to require hospitalization: - All pregnant women - People who are residents of nursing homes or other chronic care facilities - People 65 years of age or older - All children under 5 years of age - Indigenous peoples - Adults or children (6 months of age and over) with chronic health conditions as follows: - Cardiac or pulmonary disorders - Diabetes mellitus or other metabolic disease - Cancer - Conditions or medication which compromise the immune system (due to underlying disease, therapy or both - Renal disease - Anemia or hemoglobinopathy - Neurologic or neurodevelopment conditions - Morbid obesity (body mass index of 40) - Children and adolescents (6 months to 18 years) undergoing treatment with acetylsalicylic acid for long periods - Health Care Providers TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT Call the Bancroft Community Family Health Team OR if you have a doctor with us, call their office to book an appointment. 613-332-1565

We are happy to announce that bookings are now available for 80+ year old patients on the HPE Public Health website https://hpepublichealth.ca/booking/ . If you are unable to book online, you will need to call HPE Public Health at 1-833-943-3900 to book. Unfortunately we are not able to book these appointments due to the amount/type of data that is required. All residents are asked for patience and cooperation to help ensure local vaccination clinics are as efficient and effective as possible.
