We understand that kids will be going back to school in September. HOWEVER... as of this moment, we DO NOT have firm information that the Community Centre will be fully operational if the arena is not being used. IF, we are permitted to use the facility for our martial arts practice, it will be MANDATORY that ALL students MUST WEAR MASKS and you MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN MASK. These SAFETY Precautions are NOT OPTIONAL

We want to let all the parents and students know that all of the Black Belts are very active in an effort to get some response from the local, provincial and federal governments as to when we might resume our practices in earnest. Part of the inquiry is to get some response from parents and students as to whether or not they plan to attend classes, if we are allowed to reopen in September. Once we have an indication of students attending , we can adjust our program accordingly due to space constraints as well. So please consider what you want to work and get your responses back to this page a.s.a.p.

BANCROFT MARTIAL ARTS* " COVID-19 PROTOCOL" O Enter & Exit through the North door (left door at front of building - normal route) O A Face mask must be worn at all times when entering the dojo until you leave the building... O You must sanitize your hands as you enter the dojo or at the check-in desk O A club official will take your temperature on your forehead, record your attendance. Check that the student has sanitized their hands and ask you to review the COVID medical questions as per the Board of Health. If you answer yes to any of the questions, you will be asked to skip class that week . O Only one person at a time in each is allowed bathroom. Therefore the bathrooms must not be used for changing. O We will practice class with Social Distancing in mind wherever possible. Coloured markers on the floor will indicate where students are to stand as instructed by our Sensei O Any student that is feeling light-headed or very tired can take a break in the designated Rest Area. O Kids Class will run from 6:00 to 6:45 with a fallow time after. We will have as many air changes per hour as possible with windows open and fans running. Teen/Adult class ill be at 7:15 to 9:15.pm O Parents must bring their children to check-in then must leave the dojo to allow us to meet our guidelines for number of bodies present in our space. They can rest in their cars or Somewhere nearby. Please be ready promptly to pick up your children at the end of class . If your child has any difficulties we will contact you during class at the phone number on your registration info. O For students with paid registration for last Spring’s session, registration will be free this fall semester. We Appreciate Your Help during these difficult COVID times.
