For the month of July we would like to collect FRESH fruits and vegetables for our local food bank instead of canned goods and processed foods. It could even come from your garden, and we would pick it up from your place and make sure it gets to the North Hastings Community Cupboard. Please keep the donations coming in for Experience Summer Camp !

Bancroft Needs- if you can help in anyway please contact myself or Mahogany for pick up or please drop to Vance Motors. Experience Summer camp runs for eight weeks each summer. Children ages 5-12 have the opportunity to participate in swimming, games, sports, field trips, and theme-days in a fun day-camp setting. 250 children attend this camp, supported by 19 youth who are employed to provide fun activities throughout the week. The fully integrated camp is free to NHCS member...s and has a very high camp-counsellor to child ratio, ensuring campers are well cared for and have lots of support and fun. Camp runs in one-week long sessions, throughout July and August. We are grateful for funding provided by the Hastings County & Ontario Child Benefit Reinvestment Fund, which makes this program possible. In addition to providing a fun and enriching summer program for children, this program also provides youth employment opportunities.
