Be careful with the words you use when talking about mental health. 2 Education is power. Learn the difference between facts and myths about mental illness. Know the warning signs. 3 Be kind. Treat everyone with respect. 4 Not everything needs to be fixed; sometimes people just need a helping hand or listening ear. 5 Continue the conversation. Whether it be in a team meeting, during a training day, or on social media, continue talking and sharing your ideas about mental health.
