Meet Benazir Tom Erdimi, a first year student studying human rights and conflict at the University of Ottawa. Benazir lived in the Ledbury Banff community for many years. While living in the community Benazir added so much joy to our programs, that being said we are incredibly proud of her most recent achievement. Recently featured on CTV morning, Benazir conducted a project that in listed youth from around the world to continue the conversation about racial discrimination a...nd injustices. Benazir goal, as explained in her interview is to speak out against injustices in hopes that this will help others move forward and bring a positive change. She hopes to make the conversation continue beyond the trend and demonstrate racial injustices can occur in any environment not just what is broadcasted on tv. She hopes to give other a platform to speak out against safely and fight against racial injustices and discrimination. Awesome work Benazir!
