On Monday December 16th, from 11AM 1PM, there will be a little less hunger and a little more warmth at Memorial Park in Downtown Oshawa due to an initiative by local entrepreneurs Kyle Sherwin and Jim Kerr. Mr. Sherwin will be in his 1987 Canada Post Delivery Vehicle converted into what is now the Bang Bang Burrito Food Truck (named Jeffrey!). Bang Bang will be giving away Oshawa’s favourite, made from scratch, kick a$$ burritos and soup. Directly next to Jeffrey; Mr. K...err will be in what was once an operating school bus lovingly modified into a Burning Man art car aptly named the Bubble Bus. The Bubble Bus will be giving away warm clothing, blankets, jackets etc. both kids and adult sizes will be available to anyone in need of warm clothes this winter. Clothing donations can be dropped off at a Bang Bang Burrito, 1812 Simcoe St N, Oshawa from now until Sunday at midnight. If you are unable to donate, sharing our initiative on your feed to get the word out is greatly appreciated! See more
